AIDWYC is a Canadian non-profit legal organization dedicated to the prevention of wrongful convictions. AIDWYC was founded in 1993 and was originally known as the Justice for Guy Paul Morin Committee - an organization formed to support Guy Paul Morin when he had been wrongly convicted in 1992. Upon his release, the committee reconstituted itself as The Association in Defence of the Wrongly Convicted (AIDWYC), with the mandate to act in defence of all people who have been wrongly convicted.
